Being a smartass, while listening to coverage of the arrest of notorious Boston gangster James "Whitey" Bulger, coverage which included interviews with Bulger's associates, I couldn't help but be reminded of Monty Python's "Piranha Brothers" sketch, especially the bit about "Doug", which is at 2:13 in the following video:

Spiny Norman!!!!

It's funny- I have a co-worker named Norman, and I started referring to him as Spiny Norman, even though I'd forgotten that part of the sketch (the "Doug" part was always my favorite, and I have a co-worker with that name as well). I had to Google "Spiny Norman" and watched the whole skit before hearing the Whitey Bulger news on the radi-adi-o.
