Gotta Feel Sorry For Tourists

Yesterday and today have been marked by record breaking rain in the New York Metro Area. With this sort of foul weather, tourists are advised to hunker down in sheltered areas, quaffing copious amounts of beer.

On the plus side, the weather is uncharacteristically cool for New York in August, even Pacific Northwesterners should be comfortable under our cool, lead-colored skies. That is, if they don't get swept away by our poopy, poopy rivers. Things could be worse, at least the rivers of poop aren't on fire.

At least the beer is clean.

I swim in rivers of poop every day.

It's actually been cooler 'round these parts too...after some days that were hotter than Georgia asphalt. I'm enjoying the shorter days and less scorchingly hot weather. And sometimes rainy weather is just so cozy. It makes me want to curl up with a good book and relax. Wish I could.

What's w/ y'all? Rain is for the fall & winter, maybe a little come spring. Not a summer deal.

Too much curry & beer the night before.

I'd rather have rain and grey skies over 110 degree weather any day, personally.

How can you be sure that the beer is clean? I think you'll have to test them. And for scientific rigor, try and get a representative sample.

I'm sure Ohio has plenty of poop in the water.

Summer is our season for wicked afternoon thunderstorms, but we haven't had regular tornado watches until very recently.

Been sweating, haven't we?

They call the wind Mariah, but the rain is named SUBSTANCE.

Damn, should have gotten grant money before this beer binge.
