Separated at Birth?

So... the elder of the two Boston bombers was a fan of Alex Jones, who is convinced that the Boston bombing was a "false flag" attack orchestrated by the U.S. government for some nefarious, nebulous reason. The bombers' mother, no prize herself, also believes that her sons were innocent victims of a conspiracy. Here she is, giving her lunatic version of events (in the fact of overwhelming evidence that her precious sons were the perps):

Listening to the audio of the interview on the radi-adi-o this afternoon, I was struck by the fact that perhaps I'd heard this woman speak before- the accent, the lunacy, it all came together. Ahhhhhh... Mama Tsarnaev is related to Orly Taitz!

It pretty much seems like, to a certain subset of the community, EVERY attack is a "false flag" attack.

I think they just like to say it.

False. Flag....

I find it difficult to make much hay of the mothers paranoia. In the environment she lives in, it is pretty much a given that when someone is taken into custody by the government, they will get to work framing the prisoner and then killing them.

As Deming pointed out, everyone is pretty much defined by the system they exist within.

I imagine a statement like that will attract all kinds of flak, but bqwhtvr.

Yeah, they say it so often it devalues the term, which means that they must be in on the conspiracy.

I agree with what you're saying. It would be interesting to speculate how things would have turned out if she hadn't fucked up so badly in the States. I can't imagine why she'd end up going back home unless she were run out on a rail.
