Two weeks, two countries, two bombings... Donald Trump's regime dropped a Massive Ordnance Air Blast bomb on a militant stronghold in Afghanistan. I have a concern that, after his missile attack on a Syrian airfield, Trump has developed a taste for the sort of violence that only the world's most powerful military can bring to bear on 'those who hate our freedom'... I'm especially worried that he's going to launch an attack on 30 Rockefeller Plaza to 'take out' his enemies.
Now that Trump has dropped the Mother of All Bombs, how does he escalate in order to pursue that 'splodey 'splosion' high? He's sending an 'armada' to North Korea's territorial waters... even though his description of this fighting force sounds really stupid: “We are sending an armada, very powerful. We have submarines, very powerful, far more powerful than the aircraft carrier.”
Will Trump try to outdo his MOAB assault? Time will tell, but the phrase 'Trump family atomics' is creeping me out... I live close enough to the New York Times headquarters to be within the fallout zone.

Aaaarrrggghhh. No. It's a big conventional bomb. 12 tons of explosive. 12 tons in one bomb is unusually large, but it's doodly-squat compared to a real airstrike. B-1s, B-2s and B-52s can all deliver far more than that in one pass. A navy strike package includes far more ordnance spread over far more targets in 90 seconds. And with people emphasizing that this 'non-nuclear' (read conventional) bomb is somehow close to being a nuke, bear in mind that it represents about 4% of the explosive yield of the smallest US nuke at it's smallest yield setting, the B-61 at 0.3KT.
The GBU-43 also has the distinction of being delivered by a cargo plane, so you can NEVER use it in contested airspace. It's mostly PR and live fire weapons testing programs with real casualties...
Yeah, it killed a whopping 36 individuals, but it makes a big boom. My concern is that he's going to cross the nuclear threshold in order to keep his high going. He's addicted to munitions ''morphine", I'm thinking he's going to reach for the fentanyl.
This guy has no idea of tactics or strategy, but he sure knows what makes "good TV", and the news is eating it up.
Creepiest of all is his bit about "my military"- he's going full-on Saddam Hussein right before our eyes.
