Yeah, Nutkin has a lot to answer for... In my opinion, Nutkin should have been a featured menace in a men's pulp magazine:

Ya know, leave it to the people at 'Men's Life', but they were hip to the Nutkin menace as well.

It's funny, I've seen exactly one flying squirrel in the wild in all of my years of working nights, much of it outdoors. Flying squirrels are smaller than gray squirrels, solitary, shy, and they subsist largely on fungi. If that dude really were assaulted by flying squirrels, it probably meant that he had a ringworm problem that was more dangerous than a pack of flying rodents.
