Testing Pee for Thee, Not Me!

From the intersection of the combined war on drugs and the poor, a Florida Republican who advocated drug testing for SNAP recipients was charged with cocaine possession. Representative Trey Radel did, however, vote on a bill which would eliminate mandatory minimum sentences and has spoken out against the war on drugs... yet he still wanted to subject indigent people to indignant treatment. Basically, he's not for the war on drugs unless it's waged against the poor.

Personally, I am for drug legalization, but I think that, until legalization occurs, every member of congress should have to undergo drug testing.

Also: anal probes. And waterboard the ones that complain about the probes.

  2. LOL at first comment. And let me add my own un-dear (but occasionally spot on) mother's comment: in every war, the children and possibly spouses of all Congressional critters go to the front FIRST.

After all, lead from the front, you elected asshats!

  3. Yep.

    He's objectively pro-drugs.

    He's also objectively anti-poor people.

So whatever weapons he can use to take resources away from them and transfer them to the richest and most powerful people, particularly the white ones, are weapons he's going to use no matter what his personal habits might include...

  4. Although from what I understand, he also opposed mandatory drug minimums and three strikes laws, so he is out of the running for Republican Hypocrite of the Year!

..as mikey points out, kicking the poors seems to be his thing. He gets all coked up and kicks some poor people or steals food from food pantries. You know, giving the moochers some bootstraps.

Bootstraps with unexplained white dust on them.

The same probes that they hope to inflict on women seeking unapproved termination of Baby Factory Product?

No, not at all. LARGER probes. Mounted to Fucksaws. Wielded by women who have had their medical services closed down by the Fetus Police.

  6. Here's my question.

Is cocaine any good any more?

I mean, cocaine is a sublime experience when it's perfect, but it's a jaw chewing motor-mouthing desperate for another hit having disaster when they distill it with gasoline and benzene.

I was there for the high-water mark of cocaine, and holy shit, it was a good thing. It was also thirty years ago. Much like trying to find LSD from people who actually understand what LSD is supposed to be and do.

So what are these rich and famous dopers doing, and is it any goddam good?
