24 Posts in 24 Hours, a Retrospective

Well, I set out to do it, and when I hit "Publish Post", it will be a fait accompli (C'est la fait, Jacques!)... 88 Lines About 44 Women 24 posts in 24 hours. This little project of mine has been a microcosm of my blogging experience- a little stargazing, a little crystal gazing, a little gazing into the Abyss, and a lot of navel gazing (well, at least there's been no shoegazing on my part). The best thing about completing this "24 Posts in 24 Hours" project is that I never have to do this again. Once again, I want to thank my beloved readers for being with me every step of the way- if I'm not mistaken, the valiant Thunder has posted a comment on every entry!

Well, I may not have done a NABLOPOMO, but I can say without hesitation that I have joined the ranks of the 24 Hour People:

  2. What would be the point of going on?

I have a couple of posts kicking around inside my head which need longer treatment, and can wait for another day. Now, I just want to bask in the glory of my madness.

Also, I have to go back and read the comments- some of them have been primo.

  4. Awesome.

In five days, I've managed 4 posts, and 26 comments. Of the 26 comments, 32 of which are complaining about the comment system, the blog, or the fact that I haven't managed to update everyone's bookmarks and links by magic remote control.

I have said it before and I will say it again: I need to find better hiding places.

  8. Because BBBB chooses to live upside down and posts at god awful times of the night, I was unaware of the '24' homage until this morning, proper time. since then I have been real life busy and unable to comment most of the time. Well done, old bean, what a great effort.
