Looking back on the gay marriage debate, I feel I should post the incredible song Androgynous by Minneapolis' favorite native sons The Replacements which, though not about same-sex marriage, takes on traditional gender roles:
The song initially comes across as a novelty song, but one quickly realizes that it is a plea for tolerance:

The Bob Stinson Replacements were not a good live bet, depending on whether or not you went to shows to see the crashes.
I love JJ! That is a great song and she does it justice. The place where she filmed that is in Hell-A on a movie set-type lot and I get notices for all their shows, since I signed up for them. They are free and its a very small venue..sort of like a small bar type of place. Great acoustics too. Must of missed that email damn or it was quite awhile ago.
